Welcome to the world of the Alpaca. These adorable creatures give us pleasure in their calm, peaceful demeanor, delight us with their antics while interacting with other Alpacas and humans, and provide an opportunity for a business and a lifestyle almost lost to American families today.

There is always news from Kipling Pines. For the latest check out our news page.

NEW BABY!  We are pleased to announce the addition of our new baby born May 12,2008 to Rosie's Mia. She and her mom are doing great. We will be naming her HOPE.  Her sire is award winning white champion, Maple Brook Hijo.  More photos on the News and Photo Gallery page.

ANOTHER NEW BABY!!  Just a week after Hope was born, Atlantis gave birth to a gorgeous grey male cria who weighed in at 17#.  He is healthy, strong, and very independent.   We haven't named this one yet, but we like to keep it simple, so if you have an idea, let us know.  He is 4 days old in this picture.  Atlantis is eating the leaves on the tree.

AND ANOTHER NEW BABY!!!  We were very surprised on May 23 when Jasmine's baby decided it was time to come into the world.  We weren't expecting her until September, so she was a bit early. Amazingly, she weighed 14#-12oz and appeared to be a fully formed cria.  This is Jasmine's first baby, and she is a very calm, attentive mom. Guess nature knows more than we do, because after a slow start, 5 days later, all seems to be normal.

And then there's "Zebedee", born June 8, 2008. A beautiful little boy with unique facial features and unbounded curiosity. He was born to "Tacana's Fire" and his father is "Victorio".
